Cowboy-Up Productions

The first 10 days of February were devoted to advertising for the Audition to take place February 11th. During this time the crew of Cowboy Up Productions spent countless hours preparing for the audition, scouting for actors, and advertising the project.

Saturday Feb 11th 1st Audition: despite 6 inches of snow we had over 50 people show up for the audition. Needless to say we were most pleased with the turn out. Familiar faces, as well as many fresh faces, came out to show us their fantastic talent!

Saturday Feb 18th 2nd Audition: for the 20 some odd people who missed the first audition due to snow last weekend we held a 2nd audition. Instead of snow we had freezing rain. The roads iced. Needless to say the weather conditions were most unfavorable. The audition was called off in favor of alternate means of meeting up actors still eager to work with us.

Saturday Feb 20th Callbacks: callbacks where held for a few female roles still pending due to the incredible amount of female talents who had auditioned for the role. With so many wonderful female actors, and few female roles, a callback was necessary to secure the female roles not locked.

Saturday Feb 25th 1st Gathering: due to the vast numbers of crew and cast involved with the project (over 70 people) one of many gatherings was planned in order to allow the cast to meet the crew. Actors were given welcome to the project packets and signed confidentiality contracts.
